I've been looking for the answer throughout the forum and have come out none therefore I am opening this new thread and hope there is some help.
I have submitted the form to the transportation office and have received the related documents. I've been taking lessons with a driving school, however, they are not very responsive and I am very confused.
so in the document written: bis zum 07.12.2023 die Bewilligung, vor bestehen der Kontrollfahrt ohne Führerausweis ein Moorfahrzeug der Kategorie B in der Schweiz zu führen(until 07.12.2023 the authorisation to drive a category B bog vehicle in Switzerland without a driver's licence before passing the control test). which I understand that I need to take the practical test before the seventh of December.
however it's written as well:-innerhalb der gültigkeitsdauer ist eine kontrollfahrt zu absolvieren. die anmeldung zur prüfung sollte mindestens 6 wochen vor ablauf der lenkerbewilligun einereicht werden.(translation through google: a test drive must be completed within the period of validity. the application for the test should be submitted at least 6 weeks before the expiry of the driver's licence.)
then I am very confused, does it mean I need to make an appointment with the exam 6 weeks before the date 07.12.2023? the 6 weeks before the date which is now. should I send a post and ask for the exam appointment myself? I asked my driving teacher (a part-time driving coach) he said I should send the post myself, while the driving school told me they could make the appointment for me regardless of the 6-week rule(written in German showing up). I don't want to end up paying thousands francs for nothing.
Can someone tell me what should I do please? or is there anything I misunderstood?
