How easy/hard is it to get to Engelberg by car on a day like, say, tommorow? (Saturday)
Traffic ok? Parking ok?

Hi,
Engelberg isn't hard to find (it's the big bump behind Lucern) but if you're worried about traffic and parking take the train. Takes a little longer but the views from the train are fantastic...! Everything in Engelberg is within walking distance from the train station but if you do need to go farther busses are free to ride on.

Last week (on Sunday) i drove to engelberg from Lausanne and everything was okay. The parking just next to the cableway was full although there was ample parking available at the engelberg station. The station is 5 mins by walk from the station.

We drove to Engelberg on Saturday. All I would advise is snow chains. The roads were dreadful even with the ploughs out. When we arrived at the Klosters car park, a german number plated Mercedes slid sideways into a French plated Renault.
