Dry cleaning for rugs, super expensive all over??

Hi

I need to dry clean my oriental rug. Asked about the price in Zug City and had a heart attack.. Is it expensive all over Switzerland? Should I drive to Germany/ France to get it done? It's a big one, 400*300 cm and they told it would cost 450 chf...

Do you really need to dry clean it? We hire a carpet cleaner from the local Apotheke. It works with water and a detergent but has been great on our wool rugs.

Can you rent it from Aphoteke? Did not know at all! How much does it cost?
