I have seen some threads discussing this topic while many of them also have their own specific cases (and also per canton might be different as well). Therefore, I would like to ask few things if anyone havs some experiences or insights to it. Many thanks.
For a non-EU citizenship, living in Canton Bern, directly came to Switzerland for work (starting with a B permit with each year's renewal), If I am interested in the early (fast-track) C permit application (e.g. 5-years version instead of 10 years):
- Does it mean that I can apply for it at my 5th renewal of my B permit? (by that time after renewal, it will be fully 5 years living / working in CH),
- or I need to first renew as B in my 5th renewal, then - for example - after 2 or 3 months when fully 5-years are fit for the requirement, then, I can apply for a fast track C permit?
- or I need to apply still as B at my 5th time renewal, then, on the 6th time renewal, i can submit my application?
- And one additional thing, is there any tips about how to show/proof for the "well-integration"? I've seen in Internet, that participating social activity, local club etc might count. What exactly this mean? for example, I am a membership in my local fitness club, and would like to in (near) future searching for some other local sport club (e.g. table tennis). Do those kind of "integration" count that i can show? (I mean, I join the club also for my own hobby as well, even if it does not count for a fast permit, I would be still quite interested)
Thanks a lot
Cheers from Bern
