The parent company who imported them is in liquidation: Babutec AG.
They are now imported under the UTO (used to be Eovolt) brand. Same bikes:
I’d search under that name for retailers and reviews.
They are made in Lyon France so not some cheap Chinese import.
Assembled in France, probably manufactured in China. I am interested as I used to have a small folding bike for commuting. The big advantage here is AFAIK they count as hand-luggage in trains and trams.
Three points, The battery is going to big weight factor. Those small wheels make longer distances a pain. The small brands always carry a big price tag compared to suppliers such as decathlon but the personal service can make up for it.
Most bike parts are manufactured in China - especially high volume parts.
I’ve seen one on display and had a chance to sit on it, it didn’t feel perfectly solid, kind of like the handlebars wobbled a little but perhaps were solid enough for driving
