the Eid have relation with the moon , it have no relation with the shedule or documents ,
the moon must be clear with the eyes , even thought by the telescope it is impossible to see the moon of the next month
so all switzerland as it annonced the Eid day is Fraiday
Thanks for the lecture. Eid for you, Seker Bayram for me. Read what I wrote. I am no scientific expert so I appreciated those who are and have the kindness to give us all the information on a piece of paper to follow the moon. So since the information is written in form of a schedual on a piece of paper, it says today is the Bayram.
a lunar month has always 29 or 30 days. To decide if Ramadan is 29 or 30, it is based on moon shape observation on the 29th. Most muslim countries in the world decided yesterday after moon observation that Friday 10 Sept is Eid.
That's all.
Eid Mubarak to you too.
Did you go to a mosque this morning then? Which one? And how did it go?
Kash.
For the ones who celebrate today or tomorrow - Eid Mubarak, Eid Kareem, Aidek Mobarak, Selamat Idul Fitri, Mohon Maaf lahir bathin.

And, special "Seker bayram kutlu olsun" for you Nil and other who celebrate Eid today.

The questions above regarding the time differences etc I was wondering what would you do during White Nights....Where there is no evening or night time, would you or could set your times to Mecca or home times?
Thank you for the important question ; any muslim from the Scandinavian countries such sweeden ... can give you answer about that since there is small time between the sunrise and the sunset almot 2 hours only ,
From what i've heard, the usual advice in cities so far up north is to instead use the timetables of the nearest city with a reasonable day/night, or to instead use the timetable of Mecca.
Would be great to hear from someone with experience though.
Peace, love and prosperity.
كل ام و انتم بخير
(hoping to see you all well next year)
