Isn’t Biden from Delaware?

Pennsylvania. Not sure what that has to do with anything anyway.

Only born there. But his home is Delaware.

The Elon Musk-owned space company SpaceX is currently in talks to sell off private shares held by employees and other insiders at an even higher than expected price that would skyrocket the venture’s valuation to $350 billion, Bloomberg reports, in a deal known as a tender offer.

As with many Musk ventures, the hype with SpaceX is unreal.

This results in a significant gulf between its perceived value and its revenue — the money it actually makes — which topped at “just” an estimated $8.7 billion in 2023 (though it’s expected to be higher for this year).

It is difficult to see any large growth prospects for SpaceX as their largest customer is NASA and there is a lot of pressure to cut the US Government budget.

Given the myriad of problems around Boeing and them being unable to bring back the 2 astronauts I think SpaceX is rather safe with NASA. These two poor souls were supposed to be in space for just 8 days, they are there already half a year and it will not be Boeing to bring them back, but SpaceX.

In any case, the company has more customers than NASA. Its satellite launches have customers like the DoD, but also public companies, like SES. Also, don’t forget, Starlink is part of SpaceX, which has multiple customers across the globe.

All in all, its a company that is much more likely to grow than to stagnate

If there is a storm ahead, this is the right moment to sell shares and let bagholders endure the storm. The price may never recover, but the ones who sold enjoy their sweet cash. Top strategy!

More than half SpaceX revenue in 2023 came from NASA

It is true that Starlink is the fastest growing part of the business.

SpaceX is very successful and so attracting ever more competitors, for example, Blue Origin.

SpaceX has great technology and has put NASA and Boeing to shame.

While you can debate the valuation of SpaceX, there’s definitely a real business there and like Musk’s other businesses, getting paid on the taxpayer’s dime is generally good business.

If you believe this great technology justifies a share price that is ten times more than the current revenue indicates then fill your boots with them, maybe you will have the last laugh.

But Musk has gone DOGE and NASA will benefit. However, the rest of the Military industry may suffer. F-35 is already on the chopping block.
