Ending lease -- sample letters?

Anybody got a link to sample letter to end a house rental lease - in French?

My powers of searching are failing me and i don't want to re-invent it.

One example here from a few years ago.. Still good?

I'm also a couple of weeks late to make the 3 months notice (which is all i require).. I assume that if somebody is found in time I won't get hit for another month rent?

Well I was going to hunt through my old threads as I knew I'd searched on here in vain when I was moving out...

But I see you found my old thread by yourself, so I'm afraid I have nothing more to add except that that letter did the trick for me!

Keep in mind, 3 months counts from the day that letter is received (either registered letter +2-3 days delivery or by hand with a signature on a copy that it was received). In any event, it seems that you are late so it will be up to you to find someone(s). You should do a search on EF on how to do so and what is needed to make sure you can get out of there without a problem. It would also be good to join Asloca (renter's associate - Swiss Romand).

Ta Verbier.. Yes I only got confirmation of the new place today and my notice should have been in end of last month. Current place is hopefully quite attractive and I'll advertise it locally and assume the regie will too..Places in the village here are quite sought after.. We've never had any issues to date and everything has always been laid back but we'll see how it goes when we say we're leaving Worst case i guess is another month rent.. But that would make the move easier than doing it all in one day!!

Just to annoy people, I saw the new place advertised a couple of weeks ago, sent the docs to the regie (without a photo of me on my bike) and got confirmation today!
