English Food Month at Coop?

I eat Cenovis (available from my Coop) when my Vegemite supply runs dry. Not exactly the same but pretty close...you'll either love it or you'll hate it

I think Migros and Britshop.ch might sell Marmite already

English beef can be very good indeed. Both the Ginger Pig in London and Northfield Farm supply top quality meat.

I'm sure Swiss beef can be very good, but I don't think you can get it in Coop.

Beef needs a bit of marbling . . . depending on how you cook it this can improve both taste and texture. Swiss supermarkets favour meat that is extremely lean.

I'm led to believe that much better meat and the possibility to have it butchered as you'd like is available direct from some farms here.

Coop City on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich sell Marmite.. Its with the herbs and spices near the meat section...

Is it a herb or a spice? Hmmm . . . probably the latter.

WOO HOO!!!

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, will check them out the next time I'm around the area.

If they have Marmite, they should have Bovril too I guess?

ummm.. good question, I can't say i've seen it. I'll probably have to pop into there tonight, I'll let you know if I see any.

Britshop do it...

great stuff... yep, found it at britshop.

Wow, great news. A good idea for a no brainer Christmas present. Have they got rid of the coffee cream ones yet?

Does anyone know of a place in Zurich that sells tins of Heinz Spaghetti?

I guess there's not much call for it but....

I know they carry it in the London Store in Zug, but it's a bit of a treck to satiate my drepraved craving. (spaghetti on cheese on toast).

www.britshop.ch does Heinz Spaghetti Hoops and will post them to you
