English speaking jeweler in Geneva

Hi, guys.

Not sure it is right place to put this topic, but I do not know where can I post it else.

So, the problem is the following.

I bought on e-bay from US a very beautiful ruby and diamond ring, which has a value of $4000 according to the given certificate. I paid only 2% of the price which gives me doubts about its real value. I would like to examine value of the gems somewhere in Geneva. So, there are questions

1. Since I do not speak French, I need a jeweler who speaks English

2. How much would it be approximately. I do not need a certificate, just answer about the real value.

3. I never did this in my life, even in my home country. But I think there should be some kind of pawn shops, where they can do it for free if I say that I am thinking of selling it (but do not forget about 1!)

Thank you guys

I would be appreciate for quick reply as I should give feedback or return the ring during 1 week.

Thank you again in advance

and would you please give addresses

mystery solved i think!! if its too good to be true then it normally isnt.

suppose you could try cash converters which is no 32 route du veryier in carouge..

If you like the ring, just wear it and don't get it appraised. You probably won't like what you hear and that'll ruin a perfectly nice situation you've got going.

I have to know the truth since my husband laugh at me all the time...and I think he is right

So you have a happy husband and a beautiful ring. Wheres the problem

My best guess is that your certificate is as trustworthy as the Dutch Lottery notification of me winning € 2,200,000.00 I received this morning.

Why would anyone sell a $4,000 ring for only 2% of its value? They won't!!

Diamonds are forever and jewells are not like electronics which drops i value very fast.

If you like the ring then wear it and enjoy it and don't mind hubby.
