Doctor Valentino.

You dont need an appointment to visit him, its a walk-in

To ressurect this thread (to prove I have searched ) Can anyone recommend a doctor in Oerlikon or Seebach who speaks english and the receptionists speak enough english to help me I see the above recommendation but I want a doctor where I can make an appointment and not have to sit for any length of time waiting

If I remember correctly you can also make an appointment with the same doctor and then you won't have to wait.

Here's a list of doctors in Kreis 11.

Nicky, I have been happy with Sanacare on Gueblestrase 28, 8050 Zurich. I have Concordia for insur. Will have a new Dr for my follow up in May as the old one moved on to specialty med but most people there speak English well enough.

going off topic but how do you find concordia? I am with them also and its been shocking

Hey Nicky, i have a list of all the english speaking doctors/practices in the zurich region if you want - Insurer gave it to me - PM me your email and i will forward it to you.

I'm happy with them too. Seen 2 doctor at this place, both spoke good English and had another one recommended. Receptionists speak English as well. It's not too far from Seebach.

Thank you for posting this information. I too have been looking for an English speaking Dr in Oerlikon and have had no response to calls or emails to Valentino's practice, so will give this clinic a try.

Is it a walk-in clinic or can you make appointments? I'm resigned to the likelihood that most clinics involve at least a 15 min waiting time even if you make an appointment. I find it it's usually worse in the afternoons.

The concern I have with Sanacare is mainly that it serves everyone who has taken out the HMO health insurance model, and the waiting times could be horrendous.

I have been going to the Permanance Hauptbahnhof all these years but have found that their consultation prices have significantly increased hence I am now searching for a good GP in Oerlikon close to work. Maybe I am out of date but being charged 130sfr for a 10 min consultation (no lab tests) is unreasonable. But maybe it's because it is an emergency clinic?

Dr Manuela Lowo speaks perfect English, part of her training was in the UK. She is the best Dr I have had ever!

I am with Arcosana (CSS). For telemed they work with Medgate. I was recommended to see Dr. Philipp Schmidt at Medgate Oerlikon.

Judging by reviews, the doctor is great but the med centre has mixed reviews - lets see!

I like medical centres more than separate doctors' practices, so if I don't like medgate will probably give Sanacare a try
