Ertrag mit Verrechnungssteuer

I can never wrap my head around that.

From an account, I received 294.18 CHF interest.
The actual interest was 452.59, but the rest was the Verrechnungssteuer.

From how it’s worded, I would put the 452.59 in the first box (because that was the original amount before the tax was paid/withheld). But I’m never sure if that is right or if I should put the 294.18 in the 2nd box…

I only received the data from the apartment in Germany in late October.
You can postpone until the end of November (which, admittedly, is approaching rather fast)
