I have two sons aged 17 and 15. They are both going to a private high school in Seattle in the US.
The 17-year-old wants to go to the ETH Zürich and the 15-year-old to HSG St. Gallen.
I know all the admissions requirements, but have many questions about the interpretation of the guidelines. I am in contact with the admission of both schools, but they stay vague on purpose.
Do you know by any chance either a student with an American High school degree who is doing a bachelor's at HSG or ETH? Or do you know a consultant by any chance I could contact?
https://www.swissuniversities.ch/en/...o-universities shows the entry requirements for Swiss universities.
For the HSG:
- If your son has dual nationality, i.e. also has Swiss nationality, he "should" be exempted from the assessment test (but that is something the HSG can confirm);
- But he would still need to show equivalency of his high-school diploma.
For the latter:

in conjunction with:
https://www.swissuniversities.ch/en/...ties/countries (and click on the US and scroll down to HSG)
and you should be able to figure out whether he can get admitted. The problem is that since there is a three year look-back period, the HSG can only really tell if his high school diploma meets the requirements depending on the subjects he actually takes in the last three years.
I assume that you are familiar with the German language requirements for the Bachelor programmes at both universities ? (minimum C1 German)
