Burgas is a cool location, the Golden sands will probably host most of the visitors.

Separately, the EBU revealed that Israeli cosmetics company Moroccan Oil had ended its sponsorship of Eurovision after six years.
… but that would miss the whole purpose of the Eurovision, which is money.
That was definitely a relevant aspect when voting by SMS was introduced, but not longer. Back then, in the early naughts, an SMS cost ~20 eurocents in Germany, and 20 Rappen around here.
Burgas is a much better choice than Sofia. I have a feeling people will be pleasantly surprised by how well it handles the contest.
