I know how to say it in high German, French and Spanish and have used it when I needed to get by but the people do not move. I figured if I asked in Swiss German maybe that would do the trick.
Depends on the dialect...but "Tschuldigung" or "Tscholdigung" should do the trick.

In the bus I always hear people say entschuldigung.
excüsé, tschuldigung or sorry should all do the trick

I don't know, but everytime I've said "entschuldigung" in Germany (Hessen) I always got a nasty "nix passiert" as a reply... I always was cautious to say entschuldigung here because of it.
Just say excuse me fairly loudly in English, it seems to bemuse them and they let you past but I always say thank you Swiss tend to sigh and tut rather than say excuse me so they can pass and I cannot understand that. I have often said to a Swiss person especially on escalators "why huff and puff just say excuse me" einfach, oder..... Simple innit!

Right. "Heiss" (hot) alone usually doesn't do the job, but adding "fettig" (greasy) or "ölig" (oily) always works.
Normally they just stand looking mad that you didn't see that they want to pass.
Yes I do always use the word bitte (Please) afterwards. Today I was trying to get on the tram with the baby stroller and bunch of kids would not move even after saying all the above in cluding EXCUSE ME. I finally said loudly MOVE! That worked but I don't always want to be rude becuase with a young toddler she will emmilate what I say or do and I do not want her to start that.
