Failed practical driving test in Zurich

It is a where ell known fact that - statistically - driving students in Ticino don't do as many lessons as they do in the german area (no idea if the exams are easier in Ticino or simply it's easier to drive in Ticino).

In the german area I think it's normal to do twenty or so lessons. They were discussing this topic on Rete Uno some months ago.

A friend of mine in Lugano passed it without a single lesson, but that was around twenty years ago or so. I think it is now compulsory to show up with a teacher (not completely sure though).
