I applied for family reunification visa to marry with my financee in june 17th in Geneva,it has been 7 months now, very depressing to be away from the one you love for a long time.
Anyone else applied for the same thing nowadays?
I would like to know how long your experience has taken
I know Covid doesn't help but I hope it wont take more than 8 months

My experience: Italian with B permit in Zurich, fiancee was non-EU living in Asia. I got a temporary residence permit for her country and we married there. Then we went to the local Swiss embassy and we applied for a family reunification visa. It took 4-5 weeks only (but I hear that it depends on the kanton, Zurich is fast, YMMV), then we were asked more supporting documents (size of the flat we were planning to live in, my salary etc, but I guess because we had a baby), finally we got an invite by the Immigrationsamt to take wife's biometrics and pictures and after a few days we received the invitation from the Gemeinde to go and do her permit application.

I am an non eu citizen, my financee is Canadian with C permit living in geneva for 10 years. The ocpm recieved my request on 25th of June, in November they asked questions Tommy financee like how did you meet and the apartment size salary etc.. they received her documents on 15th of December. As you see even this period of the process has been very slow.
No news since 15th of december.we never contacted with them just following the whole process by the tracking number.
How did you recieve the invitation? To your email or our wife recieved it in her post or mail?
I have never been to geneva by the way and I am from turkey which doesnt make things faster I guess
