Tina Turner. If you're quick and in Zurich, you'll maybe see her somewhere near the Kauflauten - looking very sharp for a lady her age ( 67 years young on 26th November )

I saw Tina Turner walking up the hill near Zollikon a couple of years back carrying some shopping bags - just like a real person

Does Roger Federer count as Famous or is he just a local. He can often be found in the Paradies Tennis and Squash Centre in Basel. Just "knocking up" with some talented locals...
Nobody famous in my little neck of the woods. Some filthy rich farmers but that's about it. LOL
I think only Bruce and I will care about (or even know of) these people, but...
In a certain Zurich suburb by the lake is a member of Celtic Frost.
Just two minutes over the border into Germany from Basel is Destruction's practice space. We run into them whenever they're around, as our office is directly opposite the space.

Permi Jhooti, the British Indian soccer player according to whose story they filmed "Bend it like Beckham", lives in Basel and coaches the women's team of FC Concordia.
Also, Roger Federer lives in Oberwil near Basel - I meat him at a local movie theater a couple of years ago.

Marco Rima (famous Swiss Comedian/actor) lives in Oberaegeri next to the Post office. I used to see him all the time on the lake in his row boat when I lived up there.
Football trainer Köbi Kuhn lives in my part of town, for now at least. He plans to move to Birmensdorf.
HEY, I used to live in Schwyz... now Boris lives just across the road from me in Wollishofen.... I hope he is following me (normally I like them dark and swarthy but for some curious reason I can't resist a red-head).
