Does anyone know of any B&Bs that are on an actual farm in Switzerland? I am looking to take my mother for a few days away, possibly in the St. Gallen area, and thought it would be a nice experience to stay in a chalet-like farm house. I cannot seem to find anything but sleeping on straw (she's 75, it ain't gonna happen) and cottage rentals. I would really like to be with other people rather than just the two of us in the middle of nowhere. I would like her to experience a part of Switzerland rather than just look at it.
These types of places are all over Italy, but I am not sure why I cannot seem to find much here. I even stayed in a place like that in Austria once. Sweet people with a cold glass of fresh milk to wake up to. How lovely is that?
Any advice would be appreciated. I'd love to be in the German part because I know it less well. Thank you!

Hi ! My son and his family have spent very enjoyable holidays at this farm : wwwww.schlegel-hof.ch. It's in the St.Gallen area and they have an interesting web-site (German & English) It's in a beautiful area and easily accessible. Sleep-in- straw is only an option, they have comfortable bedrooms !
