Hi, does anyone know the fastest way to get a criminal record check in Switzerland? I ordered one from www.e-service.admin.ch/ but it says it will take about 20 days to get the paper.
Does anyone know any faster way?

It took only a few days when I did that
The Post offers this service via a subcontractor. It may cost a few more francs compared to the offer from Swiss federal admin, but quite probably faster. The result is a PDF.
I do not think through a middle man is faster than getting directly from the Fedpol.
However on the website it clearly says:
NOTE: The only official ways to get a Swiss criminal record is either through the Fedpol website or through a Swiss Post Office. Any other channel is fraudulent!
Did this in mid-April for my family. The two Swiss members got theirs in a few days. Us none-Swiss had to wait six weeks.
I don't think there's a fast way. I needed one the other day for my permit and of all the documents on the checklist I was told to supply it was the slowest to arrive, think it took about three weeks...
...only to find it wasn't needed. Apparently some organisations now have direct access to the federal database so they can check themselves, not sure if this helps your need though.
about 25 francs via the post office, as a foreigner ( British) it arrived in 3 days.
