favorite food blogs

Cooking books look great on the shelf but I'm getting more and more inspiration and ideas for meals from food blogs. My favorite blogs have two things in common: recipes are quite easy to make and use ingredients I can find in Migros/ Coop supermarkets.

- a girl called jack: cooking nutritious food on a budget. Easy, simple, good.

- love and lemons: vegetarian and health conscious recipes. Yum.

- smitten kitchen: comfort food, nourishes body and soul.

- two peas and their pod : fresh & healthy ingredients, also for the carnivores amongst us.

Any blogs you can recommend?

A food blog, although not so much a cooking blog from a friend of mine. She talks mostly about sweet things, cakes and chocolate, but also writes about other types of food from time to time

I love this woman, she's everything I might like to judge, overweight, tat covered, i love her videos, from how to kill a chicken to bacon and broccoli pie.

I like this one from The Guardian.

I also enjoy reading the books of MFK Fischer and Laurie Colwin - trends come and go in food, but good tastes are timeless

this is a really nice blog !

This is NOT a favorite food blog but certainly helpful for expats navigating ingredient procurement! http://expatchow.blogspot.ch/2011/01...itzerland.html

this one is a bit of fun, came across it while going through a chutney phase and wondering if you could make chutney with honey instead of sugar.

she also has other interesting recipes for example an interesting mango curd recipe, a badger visitor, rescued chickens and rescued ferret and a small brewery where she brews her own beer (which she sells) and great sense of humour.
