I received today the letter from Federal statistical office that I MUST participate in “structural survey of the swiss population census 2024” and that this is compulsory participation according to Census Act.
Never thought that they make it compulsory to participate in such servey. I can confirm that it was not anonymous, they already new a lot about me
Should I feel special that they have choosen me? will I get the naturalized easier? 
It’s compulsory in the UK too.
It’s not going to have meaningful results if half the people chosen, chose not to answer the questions.

I did it a few years ago. Then was contacted by phone a few weeks after having sent it off, as they needed my rent amount split by rent proper and “Nebenkosten”.
Had one of these too last year. Very few simple questions, but if it keeps a jobsworth happy…
