Feedback for Hollande/Place de la Synagogue area

Hi,

We are considering moving to an apartment in rue de l'Arquebuse (the road is next to the Hollande area close to the city center) at the end of the Pont de la Coulouvreniere bridge. I've visited the area and I'm a bit puzzled: there are a lot of business buildings around and I've noticed some drug trafficking as well.

I like how close it is to the city center but I would appreciate any feedback for this neighborhood including quality of life, profile of people living there as well as any safety concerns, thank you in advance!

Peter

You can find out about the profile of each quartier from Geneva's annual report on inequalities, latest available here:

You'd be better off asking on the Geneva Expats facebook group..

I worked there for a short time a few years ago and passed through many times.. No lasting memories other than the small time drug dealers on every corner as mentioned, who alway just said hello.
