hello ,

im a new member here and iam planning to study in switzerland in the near future, im willing to complete my masters and phd

my question is how many tution (fees) is required for applying in master or phd ? especially in university in zurich ? is it really cost 1000 euro per semster ??

No idea, but you need to have and show that you have a lot more than that before you may get a student permit

CHF1000.- (or Euros) per semester sounds about right. This is often a surprise if you compare it to US universities or UK universities who since a few years started charging around £9k per year.

This figure should be looked at in contest of living expenses. In Zürich, as a student, you should probably calculate with around CHF3k per month which for a two year masters course will set you back CHF66k which makes tuition fees seem rather low.
