does anyone know if there are any fully fenced dog parks in the Zurich area?
My 2 years old beagle can not be off leash because he would run, so I need a dog park that is fully fenced!

I'm not in Zürich so I'll leave your question to those who are. But in the meantime:
Have you considered joining a Hundeschule or Hundeverein?
Obviously the Hundeschule is not all free play, although in ours we have plenty of breaks in between exercises where the dogs run and play with one another.
Some of the dog sports - just for fun, you don't need to be serious or competition oriented - might also be of interest. There are many possibilities, from agility to Hoopers to flyball to Treibball to Military/Mobility and beyond. I know several beagle owners who do Nasenarbeit (Mantrailing), a sport which is almost tailor-made for beagly instincts.

I live in SZ where there is a general leash law, I know all too well that it takes a bit of creativity to ensure that the Muttley Crew get what they need given the restrictions Schwyzer dogs and their owners face. It's not just regulations either - several of mine could not/ should not go off lead, so keeping everyone's welfare and safety in mind I sought out alternatives.
In addition to long walks on lead, I've found that a combination of free play throughout the day in our garden and then more social exercise in the Hundeschule 3 times per week has worked well. For us it is the best solution to ensure my guys have the combination of mental stimulation, physical exercise, and social interaction they need.

So if you can't find an enclosed space elsewhere perhaps a Hundeschule or Hundeverein can provide a good alternative for you and your pup.

Thank you meloncollie for your advice, I think the Hundeschule is a great idea for Bagel. He's an hunting dog so he really needs to do some activity that keeps his nose busy! And, considering that now my daughter is going to the daycare, I really would like to spent more time with him, so it would be great to find some fun activity to do together!

There's a small fenced area in Altstetten that our dog runs in... it's tiny, but it does allow him to go "wild".
Keeping an eye on this thread though, would be keen to know if there is such a place...
Even if it's a friendly farmer with a fenced off field who takes payment to allow dogs to run free... (as was the case near london)

Good luck with your Beagle. I think you know by now that you can never take your eye off your dog.
My family got a Beagle when I was 9 and we had her for 13yrs. Our garden backed onto a reservoir, so we often had ducks and even a swan nesting at the top of the graden, but the dog never bothered them. The issue was that she would pick up a scent, then be head down, stern up and would follow it oblivious to anything else around her. We even had a heart stopping moment when she'd got out of the front door and followed a scent across the road just as a truck was coming. Luckily, she came out the other side unscathed and a little shaken, but still wanted to follow the scent trail.
We had a washing line that ran from the back door of the house to a tree halfway up the garden, so my dad fixed a chain to the line and clipped the other end to our dog's collar, to give her some freedom in the garden.
For Zurich area, it might be worth checking out Citydogs near to me. They're just off the station platform at Kusnacht Goldbach station, which is on the S6/S16 line from Zurich HB. https://www.citydogs.ch/ The owner, Noelle, speaks fluent English, and can conduct any training classes in English. With regards to secured parks, all the ones I know from Seefeld down to Kusnacht also require dog's to be kept on a lead.
