Fergie moves to Switzerland

The Daily Mail writes:

"Fergie finally moves out of house she shared with Prince Andrew and sets up home in £13million Swiss ski chalet

The Duchess of York has moved to a chalet in the Swiss resort of Verbier £13m property is jointly owned by Fergie and ex-husband Prince Andrew A spokesman said the move is a bid to be seen as 'an independent unit' Lavish chalet boasts an indoor pool and six permanent members of staff " http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...ce-Andrew.html

A disappointment that the article does not mention whether she has joined EF.

Independent unit... independent leech.

One of the things I like about EFers, often do not know if billionaires or pedestrian road sweepers.

If she is not lurking on EF, no doubt one of her entourage is, ie seeking advise on one matter or other.

BTW, she is also has some rooms or home in UK.

Probably a good move for her to have more privacy in Switzerland

I think, she in her schooltime was in a School in Western Switzerland, maybe Leysin or Verbier or Villars

Oh that Fergie! I thought you meant this one.

you got my hopes up...i was hoping for this fergie

Wonder if she would lend us the Châlet for OH's 70th BD next year- if I ask very nicely

one thing i like about Suisse - nobody cares a bit about these so called celebrities. they are just another bloke in the chalet, in a place full of chalets.

Just found these new topics:

"Help: is a salary of 1 million CHF/year sufficient to survive in Switzerland"?

"Looking to buy a 13 million CHF property: who pays for the cleaning fee?"

Do you think it's her ?? (whoever she is)

She was in Verbier for several winters, she worked for Paddy McNally at one point. She is very easy going & introduced herself to me as 'Sarah" when she saw me talking with a mutual acquaintance 20+ years ago.

She is an amazing skier, so hardly surprised she enjoys one of the best play grounds in the world.

Where and when is the party?

OH's 70th? lol!

I'll tell you when I've found the perfect châlet- looking in the Nendaz area and awaiting Fergie's response about lending us her pad for a week For his 60th we were also in Nendaz- but in a Hôtel, with a large group of family and friends from the UK- great fun. A Hôtel is no longer suitable due to grand-son's allergies. We tried last year, but it was a constant worry- much better to self cater.

I was hoping for this one

I wonder if there are any toe-suckers living close by?

Funny trivia: Chalet (written Szalet) in Polish language means toilet

Now THAT was funny!

We just spent a week in Nendaz, stayed in a gorgeous cabin...what a beautiful place! We walked all the way up and down to the 2460m post - my legs and back are still stiff and sore!

Let's watch the Introduction Posts....
