I'm doing an MSc in Business Information Systems
I will be in MSc International Management do you know by any chance if there is a FHNW forum or smth like that, where I can find more students. I have a question about the books, should I buy them from the internet, or maybe I can find someone who would like to sell them...

I don't know of any FHNW specific forum. You will get to know your fellow students on the starting day.
Regarding the books, there is a website called studentbooks.ch with an integrated marketplace. Maybe you can find some books there. Or ask on the ETHZ/UNIZ marketplace ( www.marktplatz.uzh.ch ).
I bought most of my books from amazon (DE and US). They also sell used books quite cheaply and even the new books are often much cheaper than in swiss stores.
Oh thanks for the info, I will give it a try Yes I ́m starting in September, but I also have a PreMaster in August. So not much time left for me to find books, buy them and read, and I still don ́t know the updated booklist for 2013

I cannot remember exactly what they asked in the interview as that was a couple of years ago. I think you do not need to worry too much, people are very nice and helpful there. Well, I suppose you have genuine enthusiasm for study, right?
As to job, I remember there are several campus events during my study. Some of my classmates got interns with big companies.

I had a similar situation like you. After I got my 1st MSc and worked for several years, I wished to expand my knowledge. So I think you not need to worry about your interview at all.
Yeah..i know..i left my job last year to come to switzerland with my husband...Looking for job for past 1 year...no luck. problems due to language and work permit.so came upon this course..thought it is good to pursue a course which has a good credibility..This is a very good option instead of sitting at home.
I just finished my Masters at FHNW in Basel.
Well, I have to say the study doesn't guarantee you a job. To find a job in CH largely depends on luck. For me, the study gave me a good chance to get use to the Swiss way of thinking and I also made some good friends there. Btw, the program is taught in English (at least in my years).
