I currently have a fiber connection with Leucom, which has served be very well, but there are cheaper options available now.
The thing is that they have a very nice hardware setup: a fiber model (fiber to ethernet WAN) and a separate router + wireless access point.
This is great because I have the modem in a wall cabinet, which contains also ethernet ports to all rooms. So in the living room I have the router, which offers good wifi coverage there (+ a separate access point in the bedroom).
Is there any provider that offers the two pieces separately? I want to switch to Salt, but I fear that I will have their modem in the cabinet and poor wifi outside.
