I've watched the film "Birth", where a woman very reluctantly ends up believing that a 10 year boy is indeed the reincarnation of her dead husband (starring Nicole Kidman) twice now, but just can't make any sense of the last part and wondered if anyone else can help me out with that. It bugged me the first time I saw it and, after watching it again last night, I still didn't get it. Dang!
It's the part where she's just gotten re-married at the beach house setting and the photographer is preparing her for some solo shots and is instructing her as to which way to pose etc. Then she suddenly freezes on recollecting something and tears well up in her eyes as she stares into the distance, all while her new husband looks on helplessly. The action then moves to her running into the waves, sobbing uncontrollably as new hubby tries to console her. Meanwhile, the 10 year old boy who once claimed to be Sean, the reincarnated deceased husband, has undergone therapy, has "recovered" and his having a school pupils one on one photo shoot. There the film ends and I am left wondering what exactly was the outcome?!?
I know this will only make sense to anyone who has a) watched the film and b) understood the part I can't get my head around.
Chick, what the heck? Go get yourself some chocolate and watch something more easy going. Or, think about what you're going to wear to match the eau de fromage perfume tomorrow
Cool. Thanks so much Prof . Now I kinda get it after reading that. Will need some re-reads for it to fully sink in but it's definitely a lot clearer now. You are a SupaStar! Cheers.
