Make sure you use a non-stick coated pot. You can also buy a fondue pot (aka caquelon) available in Migros*, Coop and many other easily-accessible stores.
* Don't use this one (M item# 7025608) as it has been recalled!
This - or even better, a simple mountain châlet-type restaurant up in the mountains - where fondue belongs- and after a good hike or x-country ski day.
TBH the idea of having fondue in a town restaurant, without the views, the hike, flowers, wildlife, etc- just doesn't make sense to me (as an mountain Swiss girl). Can recommend fabulous places in Romandie, but not ZH area.
