It's annoying. But now I'm wondering if i should just replace the whole thing. Usually, i like to use the food processor for chopping, slicing, grating large quantites of things.
Any suggestion for replacements?
I have a kitchen aid 11cup, wide mouth food processor. In 6 years, i've replaced the work bowl (the mechanism in the work bowl cover craps out and the macine stops working because of the safety mechanism).
You can buy separate pieces on a french website and have it post to your house. You might only pay the VAT of 8% on it depending on if the custom opens the package.
