Last week I used SBB‘s excellent Easyride payment App to go 3 stops on a Postauto (bus) coming down from Flumserberg to the car park.
Forgot to switch it off and drove home. Only discovered the error when my phone asked if I still wanted to keep Location Services running for the App. The bill for CHF36.00 arrived the next day showing the trains I must have taken and an arrival 2 hours after I got home.
Corrections can be made on the App. This started an inquiry by email - where? When? How etc. Result? A refund of CHF33, the fare I used being deducted.
I’ve done that with EasyRide with the same result. Used the bus to pick up car at garage and then went to shopping centre then pharmacy then home. It guessed my itinerary which had me going in and out of Nyon multiple times. Quite clever as it ‘guessed’ which buses I would have taken.
Open the app and go to the “Tickets & Travelcards” tab. Tap “Expired” and then “Show EasyRide journeys”. Choose the relevant journey there and then tap “Report problem”. Complete the form and describe what happened to customer service. There is no entitlement to credit if you forget to check out.
Despite that last sentence they refunded me when I forgot.
