Somewhere in the city I saw and ad about free walking tours around Basel on Sundays. Maybe someone here participated in one and could tell more? Is there a guide or something like that?;D And is the tour is the same every Sunday?

Around the old town you have various marked walking tours - the book describes the different sights en-route. We have a copy with text in English - maybe ask for it at Bider and Tanner or so.
These guys do regular walking tours also.
