Fresh meal delivery

Hello,

I just moved to a temporary residence but I can't cook due to the fire alarm and I don't have hob in the room... it does drive me a bit nut because you can't live on cous-cous or polenta done by the kettle's water and I feel miserable.

In London there were those companies preparing food/diet, delivering how many meals you need, I am not talking about Fresh Hello, that you would have to cook anyway, but ready fresh healthy meals for diets (Vegan, whatever).

I googled the hell out of Internet but didn't spot something in Zurich and the only way I see is eat.ch one meal at the time.... doesn't exist any company that deliver for diet/healthy stuff as weekly menu?

Save me from my sad kettle dinners, please...I know how to cook, but I can't

I don't know any company delivering meals in the manner you talk of, but a second hand microwave could open up a whole new range of meals.

Literally the first link on google:

https://powermeals.ch/

Found another one https://menu-casa.ch/de/uber-uns#faq

Here's another. Disclaimer: I know nothing about it. The searchword I used was "Mahlzeitendienst".

A friend of mine prepares delicious Italian meals for this app. https://eatshomemade.ch/de

She is active in Basel. Not sure if the app works in other regions.

Nobody came up with this one?

Why make it easy when it can be complicated

The OP is looking for healthy alternatives to fast food/restaurant meals.

I am sure that he/she has already evaluated delivery services.

There are healthy alternatives to be found on just eat aswell.

Its a god link to have, when one grows bored of frozen ready meals

I'm guessing you have a small refrigerator at least? That options up options for fresh healthy salads. You can also purchase a nice rotisserie chicken somewhere to add to it for protein.

This is my local rotisserie place - but I know they have trucks like this throughout Switzerland:

Or perhaps could you purchase a small toaster oven?

Just a warning, expect the meal to be comprised of a tiny piece of meat or fish, and then mostly rice or other cheap filler foods.

After many years, it's still shocking what they try to get away with in CH for many times the price.

Depending on how central you are felfel is probably the most sensibly priced. Expect to pay 10-20chf per dish.

If you are interested in meeting othger people at the same time, you could try Cook-Eat

https://www.cook-eat.ch/index_en.html

You basically pay to gok and eat at someone else's home, maybe with others.

That way you eat and, maybe you will make new friends at the same time.

Bit out of the way for you, no? I'm a Thursday man myself.

A relatively cheap option might be the app : TooGoodToGo --> but you need to go and take it from the restaurant... and you can buy from more locations and just save it in the fridge ...
