I ́m new in Basel and it ́d really great to find some friends here (coffee, chat, party, language.. etc). Arrived here couple of days ago.

In this week it ́s my birthday (20), too, so it would be awesome to find someone before to go and celebrate it in this or next weekend

I speak English and Spanish well, soon going to German language course, too.

it's not too far from Pickwicks but it's more alive, it has a dancefloor and closes very late (5am), it's the best place if you want to meet new people.

I was there for paddy's day last year and it was great fun!

pity i can't go this weekend as i have other plan, perhaps we can arrange a night out with the EF's members one of the next saturdays.

I would love to! I know exactly where Paddy`s is, but I never actually went in haha. It is on my way to Deutch Class haha

Welcome to Basel! If you want to meet with English speaking people, your best bets are Mr. Pickwicks at Barfusserplatz, and Paddy O'Reilly's an Irish Pub.

If you want to meet any Americans, all you have to do is walk to the Starbucks next to the trainstation. I think it was 80% American yesterday when I was there...
