That was 2 months ago. Until about 4 weeks ago, the shippers in Rotterdam were telling me they were trying to get my customs clearance. Then they said they got it, and the goods were being moved to their bonded warehouse; but then a week later, they tell me they couldn't actually get the goods until I paid a 900€ demurrage fee. This seemed kind of shady to say the least, but they're holding my stuff ransom, so I paid. Now for the last week and a half they've been saying they're trying to find a "combination route" to Switzerland, with still no ETA for delivery.
All of this seems excessively bad. Have others been having similar experiences, or am I just working with a particularly crappy company?
