Fust AG! Avoid at all costs.

If they do, all the more reason not to label them. It's like the news reporting:"The culprit was Swiss with Italian roots". WTF?

I'm a secondo and I don't have an issue with the "label" at all (just like most secondos who I personally know). But we're getting really off-topic here.

There is a Fust in my city, the employees are very friendly and helpful. I already made 2 online purchases for delivery in the store, none urgent, the products arrived on time, if I'm not mistaken the period was up to 1 week. Easy process, they just called me for pickup when it had arrived. it is reasonable to cancel your order and buy elsewhere if you need the product urgently.

I only ordered online from them once. They took way longer to ship than expected, so upon checking after some 2 weeks the status was still said "Backordered" (although the product was listed as "Available to ship" when I ordered). I called and cancelled, which was done on the spot, no problems.

As some pointed out already, where is that coming from? Racist or not, derogatory or not, it's completely unnecessary and prejudiced: how do you know their nationality or historical inmigration status? It doesn't belong in this discussion at all. Worsened by the joke after that:

It's clearly a joke, but again taking a jab at the same group of inmigrants. Let's not forget, most of us here in this site are inmigrants, and many of us are working on our naturalization. So these secondos...they're our own children. Call me hiper-sensitive, but I've been an "inmigrant" most of my life, moving from country to country where my employers offered me an opportunity (you know, the typical expat life). In some places I felt right at home, and in others I was looked down on and treated as a second-rate individual. We can't allow ourselves to look down on any group.

My latest experience with Fust was that I recycled my old coffee machine with them in May 2020. My experience with their friendly stuff was very positive.

What is friendly stuff?

A coffee machine that says good morning when you turn it on?

and doesn't bitch when you recycle it.

This problem is not unique to Fust. I ordered something from Digitec in May with a promised delivery date within a few days. The item was supposedly in stock. The item was finally delivered at the end of August. I could have cancelled the order but I chose not to as no one had any stock of this particular item. Digitec kept sending me emails telling me the item was on order and delivery expected in 7 to 10 days.

I hope you can find a solution.
