Galaxus are showing their true colors

No need to hurry, current UKW licenses run until the end of next year. And there’s a good chance that even that kill-date will be postponed, the Nationalrat just voted to do that 124:62, we’ll see in the coming months what the Ständerat votes.

Are you sure you’re posting in the right thread?

I know but I don’t have an UKW radio either. I depend entirely on internet.
But even so, definitely no need to hurry, let me wait until Galaxus gets tired of the games.

Who, me? Yep, true colours galaxus.
And therefore so did Roxi.

Ok, I had no idea that his post referred to the radio.

LOL, what else do people do with UKW?

Yeah, well, Bowlie might say flying. But I doubt it?

He used a German acronym so I had no idea what he was talking about.

No surprises there.

Maybe you should have asked for explanations instead.

Or maybe you should have just used the English acronym out of courtesy to other forum users.
People shouldn’t need to ask for explanations of posts.

I use Nationalrat all the time. Not been bitched at for it.
It’s the usual bickering and sooooo unnecessary.
I think post 43 to 48 (which then includes this one) should be deleted.

All I wanted was people to be annoyed with me - or have an explanation - about the price changing on galaxus right the moment I click “buy”. To me that is plain fraud. Or at least deception, they probably hope the customer doesn’t notice on the way out.

Roxi’s input that there is no hurry for DAB made sense as I didn’t mention why I wanted the DAB radio.

Galaxus prices are fluid.

An increase in demand (an add-to-basket or interest in the product) means the price will go up.

No idea what the algorithms are but you can add items to a Watchlist where you can monitor them.

I bought a PC from them a couple of weeks ago.
The price went up by CHF130 within two weeks with two increments.

At least the price changed before you clicked on “buy”. The origin of this thread is when Galaxus changed the price after the item was delivered to the customer

Also, any special reason to buy a new radio? Plenty of used DABs in tutti, ricardo. Half-price or even less compared to Galaxus.

Yeah, true. They could come an pick it up here, that’s for sure.
Although the Swiss law says one has to sell things at the announced price (unless it is so extreme, it’s obviously a mistake like you buy a villa for 2000.00). And no matter what one writes in the AGB, the law is higher.

At least their system informs you when something in your watchlist drops in price - and that does happen actually - so let’s see what today’s delay will save me. Or what new supplier I will discover

Digitec/Galaxus prices change a lot. I think some of it is FX related. Sometimes I add stuff to the basket and then the email me later to tell me the price has dropped. If you scroll down, you can unhide the price trend section which has a graph showing the recent price movements.

yep, I know that graph.
What is FX related?

Foreign eXchange: EUR, USD, etc.

The price has now gone up to Fr. 210.30 (from 143 three days ago) and they can’t even deliver anymore before mid. Nov. and mid. Dec
Others can. For much less.

It’s from a GB company … has the pound gone into the sky?
Naa, this company does not feel serious to me, I mean if I wanna buy on ricardo and the likes I just do.
Same goes for digitec of course, no surprise as they belong together.

Economics 101: Law of supply and demand.

yep, it sure has taken over interesting markets. I’m waiting for Migros to tell me 1kg of onions is Fr. 25.00 if I order and pay now and they will deliver in a month’s time. Time to get acquainted with the black market, at least I can go straight home and start cooking what ever I bought for the price of the moment. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
