galaxus.ch has terrible customer support

Hi All,

Does anyone else have these issues with galaxus customer support.

I love the site, it's easy to use and the products come quickly. But I received a damaged product from them. I have emailed 4 times over the last 9 days and I didn't get a response.

I phoned them a few days ago and after 15 minuted I hung up the phone.

Today I was on the phone for 27 minutes before it cut off.

I am right this moment now on hold again for 32 minutes so far.....

A friend of mine in the office said that he has waited over an hour before hanging up.

It says I have 10 days to return items and I have to bring them to the store unless it's damaged in which case I have to contact support. I really worry that I have just 1 day left before I am stuck with this broken BBQ.

Anyone else have these issues with galaxus website? It seems unusual for a swiss company to be this bad.

I don't know the company but I suggest posting some complaints on Facebook and Twitter . They usually generate a response!

Yes, if it's a Migros company.

Others are bad too.

Yes they are owned by Migros / Digitec.

+1 on Facebook and Twitter. Had a long email correspondence with AirCanada, nothing happened, posted on FB and suddenly they answered

It's the same company as Digitec. It seems they are great until you need support, repairs, replacements or refunds.

What's your experience with digitec.ch?

Sorry to hear that! I've actually received pretty good customer service from Galaxus.

Have you tried emailing them? Perhaps it's easier for them to process emails than phone calls, since everything is done electronically.

My experience: Galaxus forgot to send me the adapter for a toaster-oven. I noticed this several weeks later, since I hadn't used to oven till then. I sent them an email, hoping they wouldn't think I had lost it. They confirmed it was their mistake and I received the adapter the next day

Perhaps I was just lucky then... Seems there have been more negative than positive experiences. Maybe they're very busy after easter?

I guess you made a post to their page, they are only visible if you look for them (not shown on their timeline). But they will have seen it, if nothing happens by tonight start replying to posts that they make, they will be very public then

I had ordered a phone from galaxus that said ' in stock' on their website, but it took a month for the phone to arrive! Every time I called them up to check on the phone, they kept postponing by a week till it was four weeks!

The phone's awesome though. :-)

Galaxus is terrible and so is Digitec now. I no longer buy from them.

I am now ordering more from Amazon.de using grenzpaket.ch and brack.ch

Make sure you give them 1 star on Google Maps, G+, Yello and all other review sites. For small purchases that is what I do. Hoping it save other people from the terrible service I got.

They don't seem to have moved forward on their customer service in two years! I just made our first and last order. Took 1 month to arrive - despite saying it was in stock the entire time, product measurements totally wrong. They confused height and width and length :-( Product review duly left on site.

Customer service was friendly but utterly ineffective.

Product going straight back for a refund. As soon as my money has been refunded I will be closing my account.

Can't say about Galaxus. But I will ask my son-he works at Galaxus

Why would someone push the numbers in his story a bit?
