This might be a bizarre question but here it goes.
The company that manages the building where I live has sent me a letter asking me for information about my kitchen. They want to know if I have a gas kitchen.
What could be the reason they are asking such question?
I'm just curious about what your theories might be.
As a student in North Wales, many years ago now , I stayed in some quite grim accommodation. In one house, which was quite basically equipped even by the standards of the day, there was, for example, only an outside toilet, the kitchen had a gas powered fridge as well as gas hot water and a gas stove. The gas fridge worked most of the time but had a long cycle where it would actually heat up the contents of the fridge for a period before reverting to its normal cooling function.
Incidentally, we still cook with (mains) gas here.
You haven't said anything about the current state of your kitchen is here or what your preferences would be but I'd definitely not recommend a gas fridge.
