Has anybody have recent experience of giving birth in the Maternity Hospital in Geneva?
I am due to give birth in February as a private patient as was just wondering how things go there.

'Bumping' this for you.
No personal experience of HUG, but my grand-daughter was born there last year and everyone seemed happy with the place!

Also can't comment first-hand, but my nephew was born there, and many friends and family members were operated without any complaints.
It is not as luxurious as some of the private clinics like Grangettes or Beaulieu (you may not get a choice of menus!), but the care is certainly as good if not better. It is the first choice for any kind of complicated birth - a friend was sent there for her birth instead of Grangettes (which she had booked) due to concerns about her baby.
