German Volleyball Terms

So I just joined a volleyball league here in Zurich and am trying to quickly learn the German terms for the following English words. Does anyone know? I can't find a website that has these either and before I ask my coach to write them down for me I thought I would see if I could find out myself:

Pass -

Dig -

Block -

Set - pass

Hit/Kill - Smash (I think)

Thank you!

I'll give it a try, but guarantee for nothing:

Pass - (If you mean passing to a team member): der Pass (Switzerland; in Germany also: das Zuspiel)

Dig - die Manschette (Switzerland), der Bagger

Block - der Block

Set - der Satz

Hit/Kill - der Smash (refers to the shot technique, if it was a kill or not is irrelevant)

Danke!

Here are some volleyball terms in German:

Service - Aufschlag/Service

Receive - Annahme/Bagger

(I do not know the correct term of "dig" in German)

Pass - Pass

Set - Pass/Zuspiel

Smash - Sprungaufschlag

Feint - Finte (normally called "Feint")

Libero - Libero

Middle blocker/hitter - Mittelangreifer

Scorer - Schreiber

Field - Feld

Attack line -Angriffslinie

Position - Aufstellung

Reserve playler - Ersatzspiler

Game - Spiel

Set - Satz (1. Satz, 2. Satz, etc)

ENJOY!!!

PS

Could you find proper volleyball shoes?

WOW! Thank you. I did find shoes, bought them from a fellow English Forum Member!

You are welcome, Hestia . Good to know that you could get shoes...

It was little confusing with the German words at the beginning, but got used to. Are you playing in a high league? I do in the regional 4th league... (and by the way, I'm a female, too )
