Have you got the MDF already? Many shops will cut the wood/MDF they sell either free or for a small fee, but probably not wood/MDF bought elsewhere. In which case find a local carpenter and ask them.
I have a question about MDF and this is the one of only 2 threads mentioning it. Does anyone have information about any regulations on the amount of evaporating formaldehyde from MDF furniture sold in Switzerland?
Some countries do have it, though I am not even sure there is uniform EU-wide regulation on this.
The background is that the paint from my fairly recent MDF table is being rather quickly destroyed through normal use. I also noticed that not all parts of the board have been covered with paint (whether they are sealed by other means I can't tell). So, I am wondering if I should be getting rid of my <1 year old, otherwise cool and not that cheap, table...
