Well, someone I know is really, really stressed out right now. I'd like some feedback on a gift for her if anyone has a moment.

Honestly, this is a good question. I don't think there is something appropriate to give, perhaps one of those soothing sound boxes. (you know with sea sounds and stuff)

What does she normally do to relax? Try and think what's her favorite "just for fun" activity, whether or not it looks relaxing to you. Then give her something related to that. Probably best if it is something consumable, so she doesn't have to worry about where will she keep it and will it match the curtains and would it hurt your feelings if she exchanged it for another color.
Could be some kind of craft supplies, bubble bath, a good book, a bag of stale bread to feed the ducks...
Of course those are way under your budget, and of course if she wants any of those she could just as well buy them herself. That's not the point. The point is she isn't buying them for herself right now because she's too stressed to consider it. So off you go, pick something out without consulting her (yes, bit risky - but you want this to involve no stress whatsoever on her part - that includes no research or comparison shopping) and give it to her.

Candles /aromatherapy stuff/ incense / a meditation CD would be cool too It really works for me when I feel stressed. Very soothing.

Somebody gave me a footbath - used it once - still in the box in the barn. Imho a useless. A massage would be great for me - and even better a shiatsu session (sort of healing massage using acupuncture pressure points and stretches).
