Hi all,
We are presently looking at childcare for our soon to be expected twins, when they turn 6 months. We viewed globegarden uptown in Zug today, and overall seemed quite impressed - particularity as it is bi-lingual. But I wanted to hear any parents experience who have had their children stay in the krippe?
Many Thanks.
We visited all the nurseries for our girl (For next Feb) and I must say that we were not impressed by either of the Globe Gardens in Zug (Metalli and the one just around the corner) The activities seemed unstructured, the kids were being spoken to only in Swiss German and the 'English' speaker struggled to hold a conversation with us in English. The venues themselves seemed a bit chaotic and untidy and overall we just didn't have a great feeling. We opted for Little Star, which is on the road between Zug and Baar, which we were massively impressed with. It seems like a completely different level. Mind you, it is substantially more expensive. We did see another nursery in Cham (Childrens World, I believe) which we were also extremely impressed with and which is in line with Globe Garden on price, but we were a little worried about the traffic in and out, so opted with Little Star.
Wondering if any new parents in Zug/Baar have a suggestion for a good Krippe/Creche based on recent experiences as this thread is a bit old.
Preferably with some access to the outside like a garden, I see a lot of good things about Little Star but seems that it's a floor of a building with no access to the outside?
Did you finally find something troubleawesome ??
Little Star was the best choice, there's also a new one in Baarerstrasse that opened this year that I hear good things about. We didn't end up using one though.
