Does anybody know if I can find Godiva chocolates in Zurich? Or maybe elsewhere in Switzerland? The online shop is not an option for me since the delivery charges are humongous for Switzerland! (double the charges to most other countries in Europe). In my case it is more than the price of the chocolates that I would like to order.
A bit "coals to Newcastle" isn't this?
This post is three years old, so I can't guarantee the info is still correct...
From Godiva's European site they do not appear to have any stores in Switzerland.
Maybe, maybe not. Not all chocolate is the same, perhaps there is a reason the OP wants Godiva specifically.
I hope so because it tastes like margarine. Here you go , do not pass go, do not collect £200.
Well, they're not my favorite either but sometimes the heart wants what it wants.
(Personally, I'd love to find someplace easy to get flavored coffees, something like Gloria Jean's cherry cordial flavor they have around Valentine's Day... but I'm sure plenty of "coffee snobs" would have as much to say about that as the "chocolate snobs" have to say about OP's search for Godiva)
I dunno, I've got a bag of cake-filled M&Ms, Reeses peanutbutter and twinkies in my hallway. But they are what they are. Godiva are trying to be quality but failing.
I like them too :-) Some other brands I miss are Icam (especially their gianduiotto, Lindt's is so tasteless) and "Hotel Chocolate"
Edeka in Konstanz has a Neuhaus concession
And Neuhaus is nicer than Godiva.
I still prefer Cadbury's to Lindt.
Absolutely, no doubt!
Ain't nothing better than a Wispa
Thanks for all your inputs! I was just hoping that the Godiva website is old and doesn't perhaps list the new outlets, if any.
By the way, I love their 'Truffes Liqueur'. I agree most of the other stuff they make is pretty ordinary. Anybody tasted these truffles and found something some other brand you could find in Zurich to be much better?
