Specifically Protestant:
(Question) Where is English church in Zurich? (protestant)
Specifically Catholic:
Most churches have some kind of service on Sunday mornings, but the times you'll have to ask them about.
It might also help if you talk to friends to find out what would suit you best as different churches have different styles (affecting music, prayer etc), from very tradition to very, um, innovative, and may also vary in the details of what they believe or what they make out of it.
you dont have to be a member & no obligation to return. When you enter you decide when to sit upstairs or downstairs
The one you mentioned (Chilehuus Grünau) is just a building used by several different Christian churches. They probably have a bulletin board outside the building with details of which church uses it at which time. Each of these will have their own style of worship - if you have an idea what kind of church service you would like to visit, maybe we can advise you a little better.
Note that if the name of the church is written in German, the service will be in German. I don't know how important it is to you to understand the language, or if you just want to take in the atmosphere.

I love it, get services, friendly atmosphere. I know they have connections with some people in zurich.
They have an english translation service during the first meeting and their gospel doctrine class is given in English.
The "sermons" are in Standard German and not in dialect of course
If you would like to experience a more modern service, come to the "Impuls" on Sunday nov. 20, 17h at the Kirche Suteracher (near GZ Loogarten). http://www.kirchealtstetten.ch/Calen...alender_Detail
As I am a member of the protestant church, I can tell you that everyone is welcome to "come and see".
If you'd like to know more, send me a pn > I'll be there on nov. 20.
