Golf equipment in ZRH?

Hi all,

Searches on the forum mainly display either used golf equipment for sale or anything related to the VW car.

I'm looking for a walk-in shop to buy some golf equipment in the ZRH area. Generally an avid online shopper, I'm currently reluctant to buy on-line as I want to feel stuff in my hand. I have been looking both online for walk-in stores and visited Manor, Jelmoli and Ochsner Sport etc... but so far I can't find a single shop?

Are the only possibilities at golf courses, or does anyone know a place for example in downtown ZRH where to buy?

Golf equipment shops in Zurich are the definition of getting Switzerlanded. If you have ANY chance, buy the stuff abroad. But I understand that you want to see and touch the equipment...

There is a chain of equipment shops called "golfers paradise", they are typically in the outskirts and industrial areas as no golf shop could pay Bahnhofstrassen-rents... Zürich shop is there: http://www.golfersparadise.ch/filialen/zuerich

Buy a cheap flight to Edinburgh, I can recommend my golf teacher who does an awesome job with tailoring golf clubs :-)

The Golfers Paradise Shop in Dietikon has an outlet area with prices comparable to uk online stores http://www.golfersparadise.ch/filialen/outlet-dietikon

Golf Import also has a store in Dubendorf, it's about 10 mins walk from Stettbach Bhf

Yep, as written above :-)

I second golfers paradise, golf import and this place:

It is also about a 10 minute walk from the Glatt/ Wallisellen station.

If you are looking at the premium brands like Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, then I don't think buying abroad is that much cheaper. The places mentioned always have some deals on, eg., Titliest equipment seems to be permanently discounted by 10-30%, although you may not see this price on the website. The trade in deals at golfer's paradise is also good value.

Thanks guys! A few very good tips here.

As I'm not looking for a substantial amount of stuff to purchase (just need a glove and some other smaller items, not going for a full set), traveling over any borders is an overkill. So all options listed fit exactly my needs.

Thanks again, and... FORE!
