Good beers without alcohol - where to get it?

Hello Forum

I am looking for some good beers without alcohol. I am looking to buy them in a physical store (so not online) in Geneva.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to go apart from Migros/Coop? I am wondering if anyone can recommend a dedicated beer store?

Thanks in advance.

Drinks of the World should have a selection (Place de Cournavain?).

Also, the Landi own-brand beer (Farmer) is very good.

I find the alcohol-free wheat beers (Erdinger, Paulaner) rather nice. Some Migros definitely have Erdinger.

It pains me to say this, but the Feldschlossen "sans Alcohol" tastes better than the Farmer at Landi. Available everywhere in Switzerland.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Drinks of the world indeed have some alcohol free beers to chose from. Found another beer store in Eaux-Vives but they had only one.

Just wanted to share some acohol-free beers I have found and started to really enjoy...

1. Lola IPA Alcohol Free (available at Coop Sihl City) https://www.coopathome.ch/en/superma...beer/p/6103029

Tastes to me like a full fat alcoholic IPA, with decent body and flavour. It is now my favourite.

2. Chopfab Pale Ale Bleifrei (available at Coop Sihl City) http://www.doppelleu.ch/de/bleifrei.html

Also tastes like a full fat alcoholic IPA, different to the above Lola and slightly sourer. Still, very nice and it is a close second.

3. Feldschlösschen Alcohol Free White Beer (available at Coop Sihl City) https://www.coopathome.ch/en/superma...?refCat=m_2242

Doesn't taste like a normal weissbier but still enough to be acceptable. Pour it very gently to avoid an unpleasant froth.

Between those you really get some satisfying beer taste without the alcohol.

The Lola is indeed a great AF free beer, but really more like a Pilsener than a full fat IPA. I recently tried Jever AF Pilsener and I have to say it is even better than Lola, best AF free I have ever tried by a long way (and I work with beer so try a lot), almost difficult to notice that there is no alcohol in it.

Hmm isn't a pilsener more akin to lager? Anyway to me it tastes more like IPA.

So GG, where can you buy the Jever AF?

Actually, a Pilsener is a very hoppy lager style beer, so much more bitter than lager (which I find far too sweet). I had it at Flying Pizza on Nordstrasse in Zürich (they have a fantastic beer selection BTW!), but I've been told it's available at Drinks of the World in the HB. Hope you get the chance to try it!

Took me a while to click AF was Alcohol-Free and not As Fck per internet lingo...(I read the thread from the bottom up)

Anyway yes Jever or Stuttgarter or Bitburger are good

Yeah, because "Ass Fck free beer" makes so much contextual sense, perfectly understandable how that would prove so confusing for you.

To be fair, in prison, that would be the most popular brand.

Are prisoners allowed non-alcoholic beer? Anyone here been in jail?

As not Ass

I spend to much time on Reddit, so sensible logical English structure is out of the window

Beer AF

I used to love the alcohol free Tuborg (20 years ago. Crap, where did time fly?). I wonder if it still tastes the same! Have to make a quick trip to the beers of the World in HB.

A word of warning: Clausthaler alcohol free is pretty bad. The only desire I had while pregnant was beer, so the mister picked up the only thing he managed to find on the way back home. I didn't manage to drink beyond a few sips, and it left an awful after taste.

Have to check some of these suggestions

If you're in prison, you'll likely clutch at any straw to ensure a one-way doesn't become a two-way.
