Good mobile plan with eSIM

I am not a heavy mobile user, I have a minimal m-budget plan with a few GBs of traffic which for me is enough, it also offers a few minutes calls to EU and few SMSs.

I can probably find something better, but for my needs that’s enough. My problem is that I would like to change to eSIM. Do you have any good provider to recommend with a plan similar to above? Or, do you think M-budget might be able to switch me to an eSIM with the same plan?

Is this an advert or why don’t you ask Migros?

Removed the link. It’s not an ad, I assume this is one of the most common mobile providers, I’m not even saying it’s good.

Sure, I will ask them, but I was curious what other good eSIM providers are out there, as I’m absolutely not following this market.

check Wingo. I know they offer eSIM. But you won’t get the Budget price, I think nobody beats Migros.

OK thanks. Just to be sure, keeping your old mobile number is always possible, right? It does not depend on SIM vs eSIM?

Start by finding a plan that suits you, this is a good site that compares all the providers.

Then check whether they can provide you the line via esim as opposed to a physical sim card.

Black Friday is coming up and usually there are good lifetime offers to be had

Correct, esim and sim are just the physical method your phone logs onto the network.

yep, Wingo has red November, trying to be revolutionary. But actually every few years my wingo-life-time tarif gets a bit cheaper thanks to it :grinning:
I’m also not a heavy mobile user so it covers all I want.

OP: Keeping the phone-no. should really not be a problem anymore. In fact I have mine for about 30 years now!

Good (independent?) price comparison:

Digital republic offers eSIM with data and calls.
Flat 1 data for 10.- and unlimited calls for 8.-.
Or slow flat 0 for 4.- plus 8.- for calls & SMS is 12fr per month.
You can pause paying without a notice, not sure if you can receive call then though.

I am using Galaxus mobile and have found it good with an eSim. It is 19 a month with unlimited calls and data in CH and 1GB a month in Europe for holidays.

If you go to Wingo.ch in the next 3 hours, there is a cybermonday deal for multiple tariffs at around 70% off. Together with the code ZSCWIN5G11 for free ‘5G’. You can get unlimited 5G for around 20 Fr. per month with a life-long discount.
